Our analysers are designed for engineers by engineers and are built to be used intuitively.  Our systems are based on 16 bit ADC/DAC modules capable of sampling data at up to 2 MSamples/s (aggregate) and use sophisticated signal processing techniques.

Multi-channel Signal Analyser

The multi-channel signal analyser offers sophisticated analysis of dynamic signal in real time. Its ease-of-use makes it an extremely versatile instrument for any serious experimentation. It includes:

  • Real-time capture and analysis on up to 32 channels (16 bit resolution) simultaneously at up to 2MS/s aggregate
  • Easy to configure instrument setup
  • Fully configurable digital filters
  • Capable of many analysis techniques:
    • Power Spectral Density

    • Non-stationary signal analysis (RMS, skewness, kurtosis and crest factor distributions)

Dual-channel Spectrum Analyser - Impact Excitation

This application is ideal for evaluating the  dynamic response of devices and structures for modal analysis.  It is compatible with any type of impact-generating device. and is suited to both students and experienced engineers.  Its main features are:

  • Computes Average Frequency Response (Transfer) functions in real time
  • Enables Post-processing to ‘re-play’ experiments and edit test data
  • Computes accelerance, mobility, receptance and Nyquist plots including circle fits for damping and natural frequency etc…
  • Works with any type of modal hammer and  has in-build shock excitation signal generator for shakers
  • Easy extraction of complex FRF data for mode shape determination
  • 16 bit resolution at up to 2 MSamples/s

Dual-channel Spectrum Analyser - Random Excitation

This application is ideal for evaluating the  Frequency Response Function of devices and structures in real time.  It is compatible with any type of vibration shaker and includes provisions for the generation of  various random excitation functions.  It is suited to both students and experienced engineers.  Its main features are:

  • Computes Average Frequency Response (Transfer) functions in real-time
  • Post-processing enables test editing and computing of accelerance, mobility, receptance, Nyquist plots including circle fits for damping and natural frequency etc…
  • Offers 16 bit resolution at up to 2 MSamples/s with up to 16,000 spectral lines

Cushion / Impact Analyser

This software was developed to enable the easy characterisation of cushions and shock-absorbing materials in general.  It is compatible with any type of cushion testing system including bespoke devices.  Some of its features are:

  • Automatic generation of cushion curves
  • Includes fully-configurable digital filters
  • Includes Shock Response Spectrum analyser
  • Has provision for additional sensors (displacement, force etc..)
  • Capture and analysis on up to 32 channels (16 bit resolution) simultaneously at up to 2MS/s aggregate

Seismic Motion Analyser

This easy-to-use system can be an add-on to any seismic simulation system or used for seismic monitoring. It is ideal for both laboratory research and classroom applications.  It features:

  • Measurement of multi-axis excitation and response acceleration from up to 32 channels at 16 bit resolution
  • Computes frequency spectra, Frequency Response (Transfer) Functions, seismic intensity (eg. Arias)
  • Computes velocity and displacement and generates 3D trajectory animation
  • Automatically stores data in spreadsheet and Matlab format
